Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Which insurance plans does JQ accept?
A: JQ accepts most available insurance plans. Please call us and we will let you know which specific groups and plans we are contracted with. Don’t hesitate to call us to discuss any insurance concerns you may have.
Q: If a prior authorization is required, will JQ initiate the process?
A: JQ will complete the prior authorization and keep your office and the patient updated. Note many authorizations can be obtained same-day or in with-in a couple days while others insurances can take up to a month.
Q: What are my options in sending my patient’s orders/prescriptions to JQ?
A: We accept orders via Fax at 801-880-3634 or through ParachuteDME. We can also have your Territory Manager visit your location to discuss the most efficient ways to submit orders.
Q: How will JQ notify me when orders/prescriptions need to be renewed?
A: JQ will notify the patient when they are on their last refill and that the patient will need to contact their Healthcare Professionals before the order can be refilled again.
JQ will notify the Healthcare Professionals that the patient will need approval for additional refills.
Q: If my patient is refilling orders too soon (excessive use) or not using ordered supplies, will JQ notify me?
A: JQ is committed to improving patient adherence with prescribed diabetes regimens.
JQ WILL NOT fill orders inconsistent with Healthcare Professionals directions. If a patient is requesting early refills, JQ will notify the Healthcare Professionals prior to filling the order.
If a patient is not refilling their orders in a reasonable time, JQ will notify the Healthcare Professionals.
Q: Is there an option for JQ to deliver insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitors (CGM) to my office?
A: JQ will deliver products to the Healthcare Professionals office if requested.
