A. No, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly for a sensor replacement. You must reach out to the manufacturer anytime your sensor does not last the full designated period, as your insurance will base your reorder dates on how long the manufacturer states a sensor should last. For failed sensors, your insurance will not allow for an order to be shipped out earlier than your reorder date. This is because insurance providers consider replacements of failed sensors to be the manufacturer’s responsibility.

A. We are more than happy to provide an estimate of what you might expect your patient responsibility to be for a new insulin pump or CGM. However, we cannot guarantee your insurance provider’s benefits, coverage of an item, or the precise amount of what your patient responsibility will be.
